She is survived by her children: William (Brittany) Poe II from Van Wert and Lisa Poe from Ottoville as well as grandchildren Markee Rase, Drake Sosenheimer Hunter Sosenheimer Kedrick Sosenheimer Gibson Poe Teagan Poe Canaan Poe; brother Dave Shinabery sisters Jill Hufford and Cathy Bellar as well as numerous nieces and nephews and nieces and nephews and nephews and nieces/neps and nephews/nephearliar siblings Jill Hufford and Cathy Bellar as well as numerous nieces/nepiatros relatives and nieces/nephear

Professional Career

Adam Shinabery was an accomplished professional known for making an impactful difference in the community. An active member of many local organizations including Foothills Club of Tucson as past president. Additionally, he participated in SVP Fast Pitch and the Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl – as an honorary Centurion for each. Additionally he served on Jewish Federation of Southern Arizona’s “Young Men of the Year” award committee and honorary Centurion in their organization.

He earned multiple awards and achievements during his life and was an enthusiastic student, always eager to keep abreast of business trends. He earned both his undergraduate degree at University of Arizona as well as master’s in finance from American College in Bryn Mawr Pennsylvania. Achievement and Honors

Adam has been honored for his achievements both on and off the field. In 2007, he was one of only 24 Longhorn student-athletes to earn the Provost Award by attaining a perfect 4.0 grade point average for at least one semester; further, 25 Longhorn students awarded with highest honors from their university’s Honors program; additional accolades and honorable mentions were bestowed upon him as well.

He was also an active member of the A-Club and contributed frequently to Eller Business School. Additionally, he enjoyed crafting, making hair bows, and watching Ohio State football games.

Personal Life

Adam Shinabery loves spending time with his family, as well as cooking and traveling. A member of Tucson’s Foothills Club for over six years he has served on multiple committees before becoming a Centurion and marrying Rina Morales this September.

He is highly involved in our community, serving on the Board of Directors for American Jewish Committee and contributing to Eller Business School. Additionally, he acts as an influential mentor for young adults while making positive impacts throughout Tucson.

He leaves behind his wife, Heather; daughter Nena Shinabery; brother Ben Shinabery; mother Tammy Shinabery, father Jeff Shinabery and grandmother Nancy Milanich as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins who will miss him greatly. He will forever remain a special part of their lives.

A memorial service will take place Friday July 22nd from 10am-10:30am at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home of Painesville for friends, relatives and loved ones to pay their respects.
