Ingredients:
Pasta:
• 1 1/2 tablespoon of butter
• 1 egg
• 1 tablespoon of baking powder
• 5 cups of wheat flour
• 5 cups of grated Minas cheese
• 3/4 cup of warm milk
Filling:
• 1 chicken breast
• 1 chopped onion
• 2 chopped garlic cloves
• 1 chopped tomato
• 1 spoon of olive oil
• 1 can of green corn
• 1 can of tomato sauce
• 1 spoon of wheat flour
• 3 tablets of broth chicken
• Olives and green smell, chopped to taste
Preparation mode:
Pasta:
- In a bowl mix the dough ingredients
- Follow the order in the list above
- Reserve the milk
- Knead well with hands until ingredients are well incorporated
- Add the milk little by little until it forms a homogeneous mass
- Cover with a towel and let rest
Filling:
- Cook the chicken breast, shred and reserve
- Add the oil to a pan and fry the onion, without browning
- Put the garlic and fry a minute
- Dissolve the broth cubes in half a cup of hot water
- Add chicken and broth cubes to the onion
- Place the spoon of wheat flour and stir continuously until it thickens
- Add the other ingredients and mix everything
- Put out the fire.
Assembly:
- Roll out the dough with the help of a rolling pin
- Use a cutter of approx. 8 cm in diameter
- Add stuffing in one half of the dough
- Fold the dough into a half-moon
- Squeeze with your fingers so that the sides close tightly
- Fry in hot oil until golden brown
- Drain on paper towels
