Early Life and Education
David Darden was born in Summit, New Jersey and grew up in Westfield. While attending Tamaques Elementary School, he enjoyed playing on their soccer and baseball teams. Additionally, David was involved with scouting activities by attending Philmont Scout Ranch.
He later graduated from Simms High School in 1974 and went on to barbering school in Salt Lake City. Upon graduating, he worked at Westgate Barbershop in Great Falls for five years.
At NASA, Darden worked as a human computer. These mathematicians created programs and solved calculations for engineers at Langley Research Center.
David Darden is a lawyer based in Atlanta who represents clients. As part of Super Lawyers, an honorific designation only awarded to the top attorneys in each state, Mr. Darden represents clients with confidence and excellence.
He holds a law degree from the University of Virginia and an MBA in business administration from Darden School. Additionally, he serves as a member of the Georgia Bar Association.
After graduating with an MBA from Darden, he worked for Bank of America for over ten years, ultimately serving as senior vice president at American First Financial Corp. Subsequently, he founded his own company that provides enterprise-side interest rate risk management and performance measurement solutions.

David was a highly regarded leader in his profession, serving on the Board of Directors for the American Bar Foundation and as Treasurer of the Washington State Bar. He took great pride in creating the Endowment for Equal Justice – now worth $20 million and the largest endowment for legal services nationwide.
He was an active participant in the American Bar Association, serving in both its House of Delegates and Board of Governors. Additionally, his accomplishments as a lawyer earned him numerous accolades.
Dave loved spending time with his family and friends. A true nurturer, he expected the best from those around him while treating them with respect and affection. Dave will be greatly missed.
