John Alff was a beloved husband and father to his three children, whom he will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

To do so, he draws upon techniques familiar to literary studies–close and distant reading, book history, genre study, and performance theory–to reevaluate how projects make their way from “mind to world” (147).
