Tee Higgins Highlights

Despite his youth, Tee Higgins has made a big impact for the Tigers this season, including a strong performance in the ACC Championship Game. He set career highs in receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns, earning MVP honors. Higgins had three touchdowns, a program record of 141 yards and scored 60 points for the Tigers.

Super Bowl LVII saw Higgins dominate Jalen Ramsey, the Rams cornerback, and score two touchdowns. In the first touchdown, he beat Ramsey down the sideline after catching a pass from Joe Mixon. On the second play of the second period, Higgins ran over the Rams secondary and beat Jal Ramsey down to the end zone.

Higgins struggled under pressure in his second professional season but still managed to put in solid numbers. His first three targets were dropped, and he averaged 2.83 yards per route run. Higgins looked like the same Josh Allen before his injury and was a top-five wide receiver after being carted off the field over a month ago. He will continue to be a dynamic performer for the Bengals into the next season.

While Higgins did not play in Clemson’s road game against Syracuse, he had his best game against the Orange. He caught six passes for 142 yards, and scored a touchdown in that game. This was his third-highest career total. Despite the loss, Clemson dominated Syracuse by 35 points. Trevor Lawrence threw for 395 yards, putting Higgins in a prime position to make even more significant contributions to the offense.

Although Tee Higgins had a successful career at Clemson University, he did not go unnoticed in the NFL draft. Clemson chose him over other candidates and he played in the Under Armour All-America Game. USA Today gave him the second-team honors and a size rating of nine. Higgins’ size and ball skills were rated as his best attributes.

Higgins had a great opportunity to shine at the ACC Championship. With 182 receiving yards and three touchdowns, Tee Higgins helped Clemson to win the conference championship. Despite his small role, he continues to make the Bengals’ offense look explosive, despite his lack of experience. His play has made Higgins’ place in Bengals history more prominent.
