Oliver Kim is an eminent attorney with nearly two decades of law and health policy experience. As senior partner at Polsinelli law firm and leader of its national health care practice, his expertise lies in health care compliance/regulatory matters as well as developing innovative value-based care models.

Kim also brings extensive legislative experience, having served as legislative director for Senator Debbie Stabenow and deputy staff director on the Senate Aging Committee. In these roles he dealt with issues surrounding Medicare, Medicaid and drug pricing policies among others.

Her research explores the development and implementation of an activist approach to teaching physical education to adolescent girls within public schools, teacher education courses, community sports and dance programs, socially vulnerable populations stateside as well as internationally. This work draws heavily from feminist, critical, and activist pedagogies and research methods.

Oliver Kim, an accomplished former congressional advisor and healthcare advocate with nearly two decades of legislative and policy experience both state- and federal-level, currently serves as Cambia Health Solutions’ Federal Policy Director as well as being an adjunct professor of Law at University of Pittsburgh School of Law.

He has written and presented internationally on topics involving health law and policy, such as Medicare, Medicaid and the future of aging in America. He received a Fulbright Scholar award to Canada as well as an Endeavour fellowship from Australia as an Endeavour fellow, as well as being named an American Council of Young Political Leaders Exchange Fellow.

He married Cynthia Sherrill Thomas Hansen and together they have three children; Jess, Ryan and Andy. They currently reside in St George, Utah.

Furthermore, Oliver serves as Legislative Director for Planned Parenthood Federation of America.

Furthermore, Oliver has written numerous cookbooks.
