Dr. Fisk has served as lead counsel in over 40 jury-verdict cases and successfully argued them at both trial and on appeal in multiple California appellate districts and Federal appellate court systems – particularly with regard to matters concerning redevelopment. His experience encompasses all areas of municipal law practice.

Robert has traveled widely, performing with a jazz ensemble he founded at New School and recording a variety of music projects. You’ll often find him playing guitar alongside such diverse musicians as Testament, funk fusion bassist Stu Hamm, Mexican guitarist duo Rodrigo y Gabriela or even veteran metal group Slayer! His constant creativity and restless spirit fuel his musical passions.

Soon thereafter he quickly established himself as an integral member of their sound, blending melodicism and intensity within their soundscape. Subsequently he formed both Alex Skolnick Trio in 2008 and Planetary Coalition (an acoustic collective that explores various world music styles).

Skolnick is also an accomplished attorney specializing in elder law and adult guardianship matters, listed by Martindale-Hubbell as a reputable practitioner and member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association.

Steven Skolnick is an accomplished percussionist in Portland’s metropolitan area, performing and teaching across jazz, rock and folk genres. Additionally, he offers private percussion lessons as well as community drum circles. Steven holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance from Lewis & Clark College.

He currently practices law and represents businesses and individuals in areas such as business law, real estate transactions, intellectual property licensing agreements and trademark licensing. Additionally, he belongs to both the American Association for Justice as well as its Litigation Family Law Business Law sections of the American Bar Association.

Testament is an American thrash metal band formed in 1983 as Legacy. Their core lineup consisted of rhythm guitarist Eric Peterson, bassist Greg Christian, vocalist Chuck Billy and drummer Louie Clemente.
