Tristan Thompson Is Not Worth a Start in Your Fantasy League

The Sacramento Kings have added center Tristan Thompson to their starting five for Friday’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies. This is Tristan’s first start in a Sacramento game. Richaun Holmes is still recovering from an eye injury, and Alex Len remains in treatment. Thompson has logged 11 rebounds in three games since his return from the bench. Even if he doesn’t have offensive production, he is still a viable play in season-long streamers.

Thompson scored 17 points on a season-high shooting percentage of 8-of-9 and grabbed six rebounds in just 21 minutes. However, his performance was not enough to warrant a starting spot in fantasy lineups, as he has only averaged 4.0 points and 4.0 rebounds in his first three games with the Pacers. Despite that performance, Thompson isn’t worth a start in your fantasy league this week.
