David Soloway is a Canadian poet, educational theorist and travel writer. He is the author of several books of criticism such as Education Lost: Reflections on Contemporary Pedagogical Practice and Lying About the Wolf: Essays in Culture and Education.

Soloway, a member of the Jubilate Circle, has published what appears to be translations of Greek poet Andreas Karavis’ works. Additionally, he has compiled an annotated guide to Karavis’ works for readers’ reference.

While working on Transparent, soloway started dating fellow transgender actor Myles Efron. Recently they shared a stage together at a Hammer Theatre performance and opened up about their affair. It was an interesting moment; although both admitted to having difficulties at times, they also expressed how passionately they felt for one another and tried to enjoy their relationship.
